YWALK Youth Forum

YWALK was the Youth Forum on Sustainable & Active Transportation that took place in October during the Walk21 Toronto 2007 conference (http://www.toronto.ca/walk21). YWALK brought together over 120 youth delegates to share strategies and success while generating a stronger youth network to advocate for increased sustainable & active transportation. The YWALK Youth Forum had three components; a morning gathering of presentations aimed to inspire, a pre-lunch 1km walk as part of the World Record Walk (http://www.worldrecordwalk.ca), and 6 breakout workshops in the afternoon offering tools for action. |
